Annual Excellence Award (AEA)
Year-roundAssessed Continuously
Your evaluations are your Annual Excellence Award currency. At the end of the platform year, your best 6 images in each subject determine your standing — quality over volume. Camera Users and Mobile Users are assessed in separate leagues, with their own Gold, Silver, and Bronze recognition across all 8 subjects.

The Grand Recipient — one Camera User, one Mobile User — is selected by jury from the 8 category Gold recipients in each league. These are the platform's highest annual honours.

2026 season note: The 2026 season opens 1 September and closes 31 December 2026. Images evaluated in any calendar month of 2026 — including before September — count toward your standing and eligibility. Eligibility requires at least 3 active months with 1 or more photographs evaluated in 2026.

The Open is a single-image annual programme with no league split — Camera Users and Mobile Users are evaluated in the same pool. You select one image per subject, pay ₹50 per image, and participate for subject recognition. The Grand Open Recipient is selected by jury from all 8 subject recipients.

Unlike the Monthly Programme and Annual Excellence Award, the Open has no automatic participation — you choose your best image deliberately and submit it during the October to December window each calendar year.

The Body of Work is the platform's most prestigious programme — and the hardest to enter. You submit 6 to 12 images as a single unified thematic series in one subject of your choice. Not a collection. A series with a narrative arc, a visual language, a point of view.

Your chosen subject does not need to match the platform's standard categories — work in Environment, Conservation, Humanity, Water, Street, or any cohesive photographic subject are welcome. Evaluated exclusively by Jury Legends. No peer rating.
